As a Strategist you will be expected to:

  • Create inspiring, relevant creative briefs; to translate insight into ideas and subsequently manage how those ideas can flourish across all media.
  • Partner with creative and media teams,
  • You'll be involved in a wide range of projects all the way from Brand Strategy to crafting content calendars.
  • Conducting research across consumer, category, company and culture to find exciting and actionable insights.
  • Bring proactive points of view and additional thought leadership that unlock new opportunities for briefs and serve to elevate the reputation of the strategy team within the agency and with clients.
  • Apply, develop and conduct research to gather insights that spark the creative process.
  • Staying on top of the technology market, the online / social environment, and the latest trends in consumer behaviour, creativity, music, art, and wider culture.
  • Understand how technology and entertainment products and services are perceived and consumed.
  • Keep the Strategy and Business Leads updated on project progress and client feedback.
Qualifications, Special Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as strategist in a creative advertising agency preferred
  • Proven experience working on integrated campaigns across multiple touchpoints.
  • Significant experience on great, cultural-driving brands and agencies.
  • Proven experience presenting to and collaborating with clients is essential.
  • Strong writer + editor, with proven long-form and presentation writing skills.
  • Ability to present in a manner that influences and leads others around a great idea.
  • Demonstrable experience of working with one or two brands for a long time and input in building a story for that brand.
  • Ability to turn data into insights in a simple and compelling manner.
  • Brilliant people skills. Ability to manage up and rally stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated acumen for business / executive level communication.
  • Passionate about culture, media and communication.
We're seeking a passionate and ambitious Strategist to join to remotely join our Brooklyn, NYC, office.

You'll be shaping category and audience thought leadership and developing inspiring briefs that result in culture-defining campaigns for brands. You will be able to balance the details of each campaign with the ongoing brand story and agency / client ambition, and be as comfortable dealing with clients as with creative teams.
