Description
As a senior creative you will be expected to:

  • Manages a group of designers
  • Project management, scheduling
  • Stays abreast of current graphic arts a technology including software, hardware and processes
  • Understands and effectively communicates the needs of the Brand team to Design at the inception of creative or production jobs through final production
  • Developing brand-identity, web-design, packaging and other graphic stuff.
  • Supervising designers and reveal talents
  • Loving typographic design, contemporary typefaces, identity, packaging, web-design
  • Keep up to date with popular culture and trends
  • Stay abreast of current trends in creative work produced within the graphic design industry
Qualifications, Special Requirements
  • 7+ years graphic designer (art director) experience in a design studio preferred
  • English (intermediate level at least)
  • Strong portfolio
  • Excellent design and typography skills
  • Well-developed communication skills, including the ability to articulate creative concepts and rationale for client and team
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with all the latest design tools, platforms and versions of applicable software programs: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign (familiar with motion graphics or 3D design is quite a big plus )
  • Able to generate ideas and present them in a way to inspire
  • Comprehensive understanding of interactivity and the web

We're seeking an Art Director (graphic design), who is both conceptual, a fastidious crafts person and can manage a design team, to remotely join our Brooklyn, NYC, office.

Our ideal candidates will have 5-7 years of experience in working as a graphic designer and as an Art Director. They will also need a great portfolio that demonstrates great and varied design (identity, web-design, typography, packaging, motion etc). Plus a desire to learn and grow, working with the studio team and creative.
